Our technology videos are starting to come together!  Fourth graders are working on the following types of videos:

• MATH ~ How to multiply and/or divide numbers
• TECHNOLOGY ~ How to create a Google Slideshow
• READING ~ Book trailers - comments on books we love

Juicy Nibble

Today we learned about some famous people who were born in the southeast region of the US.  BB King was born in Mississippi and was one of the greatest Blues musicians of all time.  He died in May of 2015.  We listened to one of his most popular songs, The Thrill is Gone.  Check out the video below!

Fourth Grade Update

We have continued to build our community with Monday Morning 4th grade meetings. This is a great opportunity for our fourth graders to reconnect with their friends after a weekend, and to start our week of right!

Our mantra for this week was "Effort is Everything", which connects nicely with ~

• Our Washington, D.C. projects (due Thursday)
• Our Fraction assessment (Today)
• The Patriots' Superbowl comeback!

We will be celebrating Valentine's Day on Tuesday with Valentines and a Party in a Bag.  This celebration will be in place of our regular snack.

Wednesday was a beautiful day for outdoor recess (just before the blizzard)!
